| Well, Here we go. The enigma that is Flcl.
Alternative title:
Fooly Cooly
Furi Kuri (Japanese)
ƒtƒŠƒNƒŠ
Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Genres: Comedy, Drama, Mecha, Science Fiction
Plot Summary: Naota is a normal Japanese 6th grade boy (although a little cynical), but when his older brother leaves for America to play baseball, his brother leaves his homeless 17 year old girlfriend Mamimi behind. Mamimi is sending mixed signals and advances to Naota, and he doesn't know what to do about her. But to make matters worse, Naota's world is totally turned upside down when he is run over by a woman on a Vespa. During their first encounter, she hits him over the head with her guitar, which then causes a horn to grow out of his forehead. She calls herself "Haruko" and her presence changes Naota's life to even further insanity. -ANN
So there is the plot, Thankx to ANN.
I think that this is one of those anime that every one needs to see at least 50 times. Every time someone ask's me, "I am new to anime, What shoud I start with first?". I say Cowboy Bebop, Then I say Fooly Cooly. The first thing about this show that really grabs my attention is how FREAKING CRAZY it is. Off the wall Humor, Loads of Anime References, and a Tribute to South Park. All done extreamly well.
I also have to give a Hats off to the music, The Pillow's Rock!
4 out of 5 Stars, Must see!

| Well how about we take some time to review Cowboy Bebop! It is an Oldie, But it is also a Goodie.
Cowboy Bebop (¥«¥¦¥Ü©`¥¤¥Ó¥Ð¥Ã¥×, Kaub¨i Bibappu?) (1998)
( Jet, Spike,Faye, Ed, Ein From Left to Right)
Well, I suppose that just about every one and there brother has seen Cowboy Bebop. Its a fantastic show. In my opinion its the Perfect Example of The Perfect Ending too! I have to say that No matter How many times I see the Show or the movie I am always Compleatly Satasfied.you have One bad ass Character (Spike Spegial) For the Lead, and A great Supporting cast too boot!
The thing that gets me every time about this show is how you can sit down and just watch an episode, any episode and Enjoy it exactly for what it is. There is a Main plot line to follow, but each episode can be a complete and separate story. This is what I think makes Cowboy Bebop so Damn popular, well Faye Helps alittle.
Faye Valentine
So Lets set the picture for all of you who don't know what this show is about.
(Source Wikipedia ) In the year 2071, the crew of the spaceship Bebop travel the solar system trying to apprehend bounties. In the slang of the era, "cowboys" are bounty hunters, hence the name of the series. Most episodes revolve around a bounty; however the overall focus of the show concerns the pasts of each character, which unravel and connect as the series progresses.
One of my all time favorite scenes in anime, Takes place in Episode 5 "Ballad of fallen angels. When Spike and Vicious( The Main Protagonist) Tangel for the first time?..
But again I say it is the characters that make this show, Edward and Eine are massive Fan Favorites, as well as Faye Valentine The "Hottie of the show" of the "Sex appeal of the show". Spike and Jet are My two Favorite though. They each have Insane backgrounds and are the main focus of the plot.
So I say Buy it! It is a Classic.
5 out of 5 Every one should see Cowboy bebop!

| Konichiwa!
Well I guess my first review should be about the first Anime I ever saw!
Akira (Japanese: ƒA’L’0) - 1988
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Akira2.jpg
The original 1988 Japanese release was A milestone in Japanese animation. It was a movie that Forever Change Anime, Much in the same way that Neon Genesis Evangelion did. Directed by Katsuhiro Otomo. This is an Anime Classic.
Now what do I think about this movie, from an Anime fans view it is truely a masterpiece. It has an amazing Scifi Plot, as well as some very interesting and cool action scenes. The English dub acctually isn't half bad so people can watch it subtitle free, should they feel the need to do so! Now there are a few problems with this film, at times it becomes a little hard to understand and can be very "strange" and can even turn people off from watching it at times. Don't let this scare you though, it is still something that I believe every person should see. The art is Outdated of course, but it is still great to watch. The setting is that of Neo-Tokyo, a Tokyo rebuilt (over what is today Tokyo Bay) after World War III destroyed it. As it turns out, World War III was (arguably) started by the uncontrolled growth of the superhuman powers of a child named Akira, who was enrolled in a secret government research program. In the story's current time, 30 years after WWIII,(taken from Wikipedia.com) A young biker and his gang ride the streets of neo-Tokyo, the story starts off lite but quickly becomes very enriched.
So I say Rent it, Buy it but whatever you do see it, At the very least you can say that you have seen it.
4 out of 5
